Since October is the Breast Cancer Awareness Month , I decided to throw a surprise birthday lunch for a loved one's birthday who is also a cancer fighter . For inspiration i used the saying : "When fate hands you lemons, make lemonade". Things are not easy for any family going through sickness , but what can help is the attitude you have against it . So, that's how the lemon party came to be.

Setting a table doesn't have to be complicated or expensive . For this rustic  lemon inspired party I only used some burlap , foliage from the backyard, lemons,baby's breath and made a letter with the silhouette . Let's remember to do things for our loved ones while they're alive, because that's when it counts .
